About me
I am a project engineer for Edale where I do project management for our range of printing and converting machines.
I am new to the printing industry however having recently come from the construction industry where I specialised in modular prefabricated construction and worked as a design engineer for several years. Much of the basic engineering principles are surprisingly the same as is much of the administration (ISO 9001 and health and safety for example) but I have much to learn about mechanical moving parts and electrical/electronic systems.
During my free time I enjoy drawing, sculpting and painting (mostly with digital mediums) and consider myself an unofficial student of 3D design. I hope to improve and perfect my skills set to help allow me to create anything that can be imagined in 3D.
The SoutHackton group has been extremely useful so far in providing inspiration and help for my ideas and recently having finally gotten myself some decent workspace at home I am hoping to bring to life some of the projects that I've had in my head for some time.
I want to repay SoutHackton doing what I can to help others in the group realise their potential and lending my skills and resources where needed.
